A Funny Thing

Life is a funny thing, you know? One minute you have just the one good thing in your life, but you think the world is all sunshine and lollipops. Then that thing is taken away from you, but what is left behind is a new and better approach to life... yet you have to struggle to maintain a happy demeanor.
On the bright side, I am now employed. I am more confident. I am taking better care of myself. And I am going to succeed.

Three years ago I would have told the world of xanga all about Jessica by now... yet at the moment I am content just to say that apparently I make her happy... I am good with that.

I guess that the only thing on my mind as this exact moment is that happiness can be very confusing. At least when one is alone one need only worry about one's own problems. But, then again, happiness wouldn't be so marvelous if it were not more difficult to maintain.

I recently acquired an external hard drive with a 1000 gigs of available space. As a result, I have been slowly filling it with tv shows... no, I have no idea why.
